When Destination Hotels & Resorts made a recent acquisition of Chicago’s Affinia Hotel,

Landmark Sign Group was a natural selection to implement the property’s rebranding as MileNorth Hotel, a name inspired by its premier location one block from North Michigan Avenue – the Magnificent Mile. MileNorth Hotel is your urban retreat just steps away from the epicenter of Chicago's shopping, nightlife, entertainment and business districts.

The existing front canopy was retrofitted with new Mile North Hotel faces with push-thru 1” thick acrylic letters & logos. A set of LED illuminated, acrylic face channel letters on a raceway was mounted to the 7th floor fascia on the center of the building. Last, but certainly not least, a acrylic face channel logo nearly 2 stories tall, was mounted to the building’s 28th floor fascia just beneath the MileNorth Hotel’s rooftop lounge, which offers expansive city views.
