Landmark Sign Group custom fabricated and installed 18'x18'x28" stainless steel cross and shield logos for one of the largest healthcare insurance providers in the nation, Blue Cross Blue Shield. Methodical planning and engineering was pivotal to construct and secure each 9,600 pound logo to the 57-story all glass building. A Sikorsky S-61 helicopter was utilized to airlift the logos to the 56th floor where Landmark's crews secured each to custom steel hanging brackets. After months of design, engineering, and fabrication, installation of logos was successfully completed in approximately 30 minutes from the time of helicopter's arrival to completion of lift.
