Today is:
     Platform: the hardware and software constituting the operating system. (i.e. DOS, IBM, Windows, Mac)

    File Format: structure or organization of a software file. some are designed to be shared among multiple platforms. (i.e. .AI .EPS .DXF)
    In Order to successfully establish communication between Client and Landmark Technology, the following requirements must be met:

Platform or Media:
           IBM formatted diskette, E-mail attachment*, or direct file transfer via phone modem.

File Format:
           In order of preference:
                    VECTOR FORMATS: .AI (type 88) .AI-EPS .DXF
                    BITMAP FORMATS: .TIF .BMP .GIF .PCX .JPG
  • All fonts should be converted to curves or vectors by the client prior to export on vector graphics.
  • All objects should be enlarged to the largest possible size prior to export (this will result in a much cleaner finished product with a minimum of cleanup).

    *E-Mail Procedures: Landmark's artwork Email address is terry@landmarksign.com A file may be attached via the clients E-Mail program. The preferred format to use is PKZIP or WINZIP to compress the file and minimize traffic. Once the file is compressed (if needed) it can then be attached to an E-Mail message to Landmark's address.
